Dr Sammartino is a highly trained medical doctor and general surgeon with extensive clinical experience across both hospital and outpatient settings.

Dr Sammartino graduated as Dottore in Medicina e Chirurgia (MBBS equivalent) from the University of Milano, Italy, in 1999. She went on to complete her specialist training in General Surgery at the University of Pavia, Italy in 2005, achieving the equivalent of a UK CCT in General Surgery. Her training provided broad expertise across abdominal, emergency and minimally invasive surgery, as well as diagnostic assessment and long-term patient management. Dr Sammartino is dedicated to maintaining the highest clinical standards and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing professional development.
